I have been there too!
I knew something in my life had to change but was not sure what to do or where to begin. I was exhausted, overweight and defeated.
I tried detox teas, not eating carbs (which only made me irritable), butter in my coffee, fat burning pills, 1100 calorie diets! I felt like a fat, unhealthy, low energy failure who was getting bigger by the minute!
Why was it that EVERYONE else around me was able to lose weight and brag about it by “potentially” doing the same things I was trying?
I’m enjoying the My Positive Fitness app because it lets me complete the workouts on my time. Carrie is very supportive, and it’s nice to be reminded that it’s more sustainable to focus on the healthy habit creation, even if it’s slow (as opposed to starting with a bang and then fizzling out). If I could write down all of my ideal qualities in a trainer/coach, it would embody everything that Carrie at My Positive Fitness exudes. The past 6 months have probably been some of the most difficult 6 months of my life. But just prior to that was when I met and started working with Carrie. I had been fairly sedentary for the past 7 years, but during the summer of 2022 I finally was ready to make a change. Carrie’s knowledge, support and helpful accountability was essential to the transformation I’ve made. I’m down 47lbs to date, and physically feel better than I have in years. My work isn’t done, but my health is a priority. I’m looking forward to seeing how much more I can accomplish as I continue to work on my health with Carrie’s support.
